Well as some of you know, I once did some shots of a family band called Beardsmith. Well no thanks to my shots, or anything I did, they were on GMTV this morning for about 5 seconds. It was the trailer for the "No1 Family" contest they are running, to find the most talented family, and give them a recording contract.
Just think, in years to come I can say "I once stood in a mucky pub in Wakefield, taking photos of this band" (if they make it)
Am I famous by association, or do you think the connection is a little weak

Good work Chris!
As someone who tried this for the NCFE course I know how blimmin difficult it is to do gig togging.The lights change all the time and the people move etc and you cant use flash.-Well when I along with some of my class mates did the bands for babes gig at the Soundhouse in Bolton we were told not to use flash on pain of death or a mike stand being rammed up our (censored)-so you have to use good shutter speeds and higher Isos. I think this is a pretty good group of shots and if your togging in any way helped them then thats gotta be good innit?

One step closer to fame by association (AKA I was once in a mucky pub with them with a camera

)

wasnt so sure about that plastic fab five...I thought they were a tad out of tune and trying to cash in on whacko jacko a bit....
mind you Jacko was wayyyy out of tune when he was their age LOL

They are much better when doing some of the rock stuff. Lad at the back with long hair does a great version of this tune:
Videos of them on youtube don't do them justice really.
But....you do realise we have a member here who is also on the music scene
PS: Mirrors should be released IMHO, it's a cracking tune. Listen to it on link below, track 2

Given the lighting conditions these are really good clear shots.
