"Massive" Photographer of the year

Postby chris Hodgson » Tue Oct 11, 2011 12:35 pm

I think that over the last year, we've had some stunning shots uploaded here, so thought it may be a good idea to recognise what has been achieved.
Later on this week, I'll be putting a sticky post up, where people can put up 5 images (not their own) they feel stand out from all the rest. To make it a bit easier for people to look back/find past attached images, I've added an "attachments" search to people's profiles.
I will close the thread on the 1/1/2012, and then we can get to voting on the winner.

I considered offering up a prize for the winner, but on reflection feel this would be wrong. It's more about members putting each other forward, and then a winner being recognised to have achieved the respect and admiration of his/her piers. IMHO that is far more rewarding to a photographer, than any awards ceremony or prize ;)

Great idea Chris and you've made it very easy to go through everyone's pictures.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'
