Mobile and Tapatalk users

Postby chris Hodgson » Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:27 pm

I've switched the tapatalk app back on for mobile users. Mobile device users can either browse the forum using the standard mobile device detection, or download the Tapatalk app

Strange???? Tapatalk isn't installed as such on a forum. All you do is upload a folder, with the tapatalk files in, and tapatalk does the rest :? I don't have the app myself, so can't test it as yet, but I will look in to this, and see what the issue is ;-)

Raising a support ticket with Tapatalk now, so they can look in to what is causing the problem.
One solution that they say may work, is to search for the forum on tapatalk, and login via the search link ;-) If you search for "photography forums", our icon is a yellow "M" and name "Photography forums".

Hmm, while waiting for tapatalk to look at this, I've just changed a few file permissions. Give that a go and see if it has made any difference ;-)

It may well be that the mobile detection and tapatalk can't work together, though I don't see why that should be the case. I'll wait on Tapatalk guys having a look, and see if they can find any conflicts.
Just in case they ask, can you give me a few details such as your current app version, phone type, and it's OS version ;)
