RIP Sir Jimmy Savile

Postby chris Hodgson » Sun Oct 30, 2011 9:18 am

One of the only civilians who actually deserved the title "Sir" IMHO, despite his eccentric lifestyle. Met the guy once, seen him being driven round quite a lot, and my only past claim to fame is working on an item of his jewellery many years ago

Indeed, a true gentle man and a great guy. RIP
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'
