Hi guys

as Chris said, the team have been thinking of ways to spice up the forum and give some inspirartion for people to get out more with their cameras and take some images. With this in mind the forum we have decided to launch TPOTM challenge and this is the general pemise of the challenge and these will form the rules. Our Jayne in her guise as ESP photography has kindly offered to sponsor this challenge and I for one thank her for doing so

1The challenge will be annonymous

2 Members can submit ONE image to the challenge per month. There is NO subject to the challenge.ANY image taken within the time frame is elligable.

3The image MUST have been taken within the month the challenge runs-Exif must be present!!!. NO STOCK IMAGES ALLOWED!!!

4 Any image without exif will be excluded.

5 Images must have NO identifying logos.( Copyright remains with OP tog)

6 Images to be sent via PM to myself as I will be running this challenge.

7 IMages need to be sent within the first three weeks of the challenge- any sent after will not be accepted.

8 On the last week of the challenge, all entries will be placed into a poll and you the members will vote to choose the winner.

9 The voting period will last for exactly ONE week and then the winner will be announced.

9 As moderator of this challenge I will exclude myself from entering in the spirit of impartitality.


....And here is the best bit.....ESP PHOTOGRAPHY have offered to sponsor this forum challenge so that the winner can recieve an A3 print of their winning image printed and posted to them. Thank you Jayne for sponsoring this challenge.

LOL@ Andy....yep....and I'll be able to enter yours LOL.......nearly got a red kite today in the North Yorkshire moors too...but didnt have the cam with me

Awesome. Is there any guidelines in terms of image to submit or is it anything goes?

Hi Stuart

there will be no set theme for the challenge. Any image taken within the three week period of the challenge will be acceptable. The only stipulation is that there are no logos or identifying marks on the image and it is for one simple reason. Sometimes there is a perception in a challenge where the people entering are known, that more skilled people have a better chance than those who arent as skilled and because they are "known" they stand more chance of getting a vote off a fellow member. By having a totally anonymous challenge everyone has a chance of winning because for the most part, the images OP wont be known....at least this is the reasoning behind an anonymous challenge.
