Feb 2011 Themed contest

Postby chris Hodgson » Mon Jan 17, 2011 8:23 pm

The theme is "Household objects", and you can create any kind of twist you like on the theme, as long as there is a connection within the image (not just the title). You can enter up to 3 images, and entries will be taken right up until 28th Feb.
Winner will be selected by members voting at the end of the comp. The winner will then select the theme for the next month. As this is the first, and it is half way through the month, this will run from now, until the end of Feb.
You can upload your entries the the gallery here gallery/album.php?album_id=28 (just click "New Image" to add yours)

Images need to be 1000px by 1000px (or less), and 200kb in size (or less)

I think the idea of twisting the theme should get peoples imagination going. More imaginative and creative the image is, the better IMHO Plus if the weather is crappy, there is no need to go out in to the wind and rain to get a shot in the comp ;-)

Speak for yourself.... Crappy weather, I'm grumping cos it's perfect clear skies all day at the moment and not a hint of cloud at sunrise or sunset.

Household objects... Three nude photos of the other half do you?

Much against my better judgement I've stuck a pic in. I made a vow never to enter comps after seeing the winners always come from the actual and wannabe pro ranks in another place. Only done this to make a competition of things. If there'd already been two entries I wouldn't have bothered!!!

Ah, there's a competition now, so I'll gracefuly withdraw and leave it to the experts to battle it out.
