HI guys

Had to put off a comp for may because it was my end of term at uni and had lots of assignments and work and essays to hand in but....now thats all done I am launching the June section of the PHOTO of the month competion. The competition is open to all members and there is no specific subject matter. The rules are as follows

1 The image must be taken within the first three weeks of the month specified

2 Exif MUST be on the photo to verify above. Any image without exif or if exif is not supplied will be void

3 Images must be sent to me via my personal message box as an attachment( this has been sorted by Chris) or to my email address.

4 Images will be put onto a thread as they are received but the thread will be locked so that the emphasis is on the images and not comments.

5 There must be no visible identifiable mark or logo on the image as the competition is held on an anonymous basis to create fairness for all entrants

6 At the end of three weeks there will be a one week voting thread where members can choose their winner

7 The winning entry will have their image printed A3 and posted.The image to be printed can be the winning image or a personal choice of their own. This prize is sponsored by our Jayne's fan photography company ESP photography.

8 There can be only one winner so in the event of a tie for two or more images, the image received the soonest will be the winner.

9 the winner will be announced after the end of the forth week and then the image printed and posted.





It now only remains for me to declare the comp officially open. I look forward to getting some fine images from you so get yer cams out!

Incidentally....to Mandy and Steve. Cant I appologise for the delay in sending you your images. This was a combination of too much workload and waiting for suppliers to send me the new cartridges for the printer in which for one supplier they let me down very badly and delayed getting the carts for over a week. Your images have now been posted and should be with you shortly. Well done for winning last month and I hope the images meet with your approval. My thanks to Jayne for sponsoring the comp and for enabling the cartridges to be got.

CHeers for the support Carl but if I dont get any more entries its looking like I may have to bin this idea and scrap the photo of the month comp. Shame really cos we already post our images on the forum so cant be too hard to take one for the comp and send it to me.
