Hi guys

this post is to let you know that the Photo of the month competition is now officially open. You can now take photos from today- 1st April until the 21st of April and enter yours into the comp. on the 21st, all images received will be put into a voting thread for you guys to vote on. The winner at the end of the 7 day poll will get themselves a printed A3 image of their winning shit which will be posted to them. The comp is sponsored by Jayne and her company ESP PHOTOGRAPHY. Rules are simple and as follows:

Here are the rules.

1The challenge will be anonymous

2 Members can submit ONE image to the challenge per month. There is NO subject to the challenge.ANY image taken within the time frame is eligible.

3The image MUST have been taken within the dates of the month stated that the challenge runs-Exif must be present!!!. NO STOCK IMAGES ALLOWED!!!

4 Any image without exif will be excluded.

5 Images must have NO identifying logos.( Copyright remains with OP tog)

6 Images should be sent via PM to me or via my email addy which is: kenny@photography-forums.co.uk

7 IMages need to be sent within the first three weeks of the challenge- any sent after will not be accepted.

8 On the last week of the challenge, all entries will be placed into a poll and you the members will vote to choose the winner.

9 The voting period will last for exactly ONE week and then the winner will be announced.

9 As moderator of this challenge I will exclude myself from entering in the spirit of impartiality.

As a complete amateur if I decided to include a pic I've no idea how to include EXIF which I understand to be a description of the format etc used. Normally I just set my cam to Auto and let it get on with it

when you save the photo in a photo program, the exif is usually on there. Plus your camera automatically writes the exif to the file...so you can continue to shoot it in auto and have a great time taking a photo..and then send it to me via PM or my email addy. I look forward to you taking part!
