Hi guys

as you already know,I announced a new challenge for the forum which is being sponsored by ESP PHOTOGRAPHY and this is the PHOTO OF THE MONTH CHALLENGE. This post is to let you know that tomorrow the challenge officially opens. Here are the rules.

1The challenge will be annonymous

2 Members can submit ONE image to the challenge per month. There is NO subject to the challenge.ANY image taken within the time frame is elligable.

3The image MUST have been taken within the month the challenge runs-Exif must be present!!!. NO STOCK IMAGES ALLOWED!!!

4 Any image without exif will be excluded.

5 Images must have NO identifying logos.( Copyright remains with OP tog)

6 Images should be sent via PM to me or via my email addy which is: kenny@photography-forums.co.uk

7 IMages need to be sent within the first three weeks of the challenge- any sent after will not be accepted.

8 On the last week of the challenge, all entries will be placed into a poll and you the members will vote to choose the winner.

9 The voting period will last for exactly ONE week and then the winner will be announced.

9 As moderator of this challenge I will exclude myself from entering in the spirit of impartiality.

The images have to be either sent to me via PM or via email. The images received before the last day of the third week of each month will be put into a poll on the forum and then voting will be open to all members to vote for their favourite. The winner will recieve an A3 print of their image which will be printed and posted to their address. This challenge has been graciously sponsored by our Jayne in her guise of ESP Photography. I look forward to receiving your entries. Please note that no image received after the third week will be entered.

Its now down to you guys to send your images in. Read the rules and get taking those photos!

Because Kenny isn't taking part, he will be the only person who will know who has entered etc

Even I will not know, as the PM's and Emails will be between users and Kenny, and nobody else

Ola....I spotted the typo right away I had typed it and changed the cant( which should have been CAN) and changed it to SHOULD. I can confirm that all entries will be anonymous and when I put the images onto the voting thread there will be no way anyone can right click to find out who posted what....cos it will not tell them and so this challenge will be totally fair to all because it will be all about the images and the rep of the person posting them.

I'll look forward to getting some entries for this and see how we go

Hi guys

just a quick bump to remind you we have two comps going on the forum. Firstly theres Andy's wildlife comp which runs for a few months and theres our new photo of the month comp which has another two weeks to run and could do with some entries. Only one entry so so far. Both comps have great prizes. Andy's is a memory card and the photo of the month winner gets a large print of their image printed and sent to them. Dont be shy, if you feel you can have a go, have a go in both. Entries for the photo of the month have to adhere to the rules posted in the original announcment- and all entries to the photo of the month should be sent either via my forum email to me or via the PM system.

looking forward to a few more entries.

I've bumped it a few times myself Jayne and was going to put a thread on with the two entries so far....hopefully people will have a go and send me a photo...its a nice prize too so get yer photos into me via PM or email if you wish to take part.

was on hols last week with the thought of getting pic uploaded, but motherboard broke so no pc at home :cry:

back to work and and back online via work but a couple of days for home, so I will not be able to enter this one.

Dont worry..you havent missed a comp.....Im only starting the next one on the first of June. This was to allow myself time to finish my exams and assignments for my finals for second year at uni.....you can send one in from the 1st of June
