Just wondering whats happened to the monthly comp? Has it been killed off already?

No, we are working on a better anonymous system, so it's easier to enter/take part, without anybody knowing who uploaded what . Sadly it's not as simple as it sounds, but I will get it sorted out

as you know, I insisted on exif being shown so we cold check to see if the image was shot in the month concerned, but it was pointed out that by viewing the exif on screen we knew who had taken the photos so the anonymity of the comp was ruined. Chris suggested trying to create a section where people could just post their image directly instead of sending it to me and this thread would enable anonymous posting.Only I would know who posted each image thus the comp would be fairer because we wouldnt be influenced into voting for someone we knew. Is sill in the development stages yet but you can be assured, when the page is sorted, I'll be restarting the comp and then the winner each month will get a large print of their image sponsored by Jayne's esp photography.
