Seen a few names I recognise already.

Hmm...looks nice...I like the decor

I have to be honest and up front and state that I just got banned from "the other place"
Also have to be honest and state that I dont really understand why...completely baffled in fact.

Anyway..I promise to be a good boy on here and I'll look forward to joining in after I read through a load of stuff and got a better feel for the place.

People are nice here and want to show photography. Not get involved in cliques and gangs.

Like I said I already feel pushed out cause I want to do photography is tht a crime.

I can tell you know it's cause you spoke out of turn, didn't agree with the mods harsh policing and have a mind of your own and want free speech.

I have recently been shown how things are and if you don't like it leave basically.

It's a sad state of affairs really they lose a lot of grey togs because there is no drive on there to improve as anyone who wants to experiment is pushed out sooner or later

I dont know you Doug from Telly tubby land( its our pet name for over there) but you have now joined the elite. most of us on here have been banned for reasons that eluded us from that place because to be honest they cant find their asses with their elbows if you gave them a map and make the rules as they go along- as myself and the admin team on here( who all modded on there and left) can tell you.

You'll find things a lot different here...as in run properly with a decent vibe and good people.The admin team on here are members first and admin second so we dont do what other lesser forums do.

We don't ban here unless it's serious, we are all adults everyones opinion is valid and we don't 'police' obviously common courtesy is expected
We started as the refugee camp lol now we are a growing forum in our own right and we all kinda like it here. We try have meet ups so everyone can put faces to names and I think it makes for a stronger community feel

But yes - recently it's become more heavy handed and I agree I'm missing the posts of quite a few who feel same way.
Even my farewell post thanking for the help, hints, crits and tips with a paragraph criticisng management skills was deleted in 3 seconds..
Never mind...just spent 30 minutes popping my head in a few doors on here and it looks ...quite comfortable. I think I'll take it, thankyou.

Well said jenny ! It is nice to come on here and get proper crit on your work instead or pros avoiding help as they want to sell you something or newbies just commenting to get posts up
