by 1/ Guest. As a guest you are free to view and read the main forums. However, you will only see images placed by members in the public galleries. All other images and functions are restricted to registered members only. You will also see google ads within threads, and around the forums.
2/ Newly registered member: As a new member, your first 2 posts will need to be approved by one of the mods (this is an anti-spam measure). Some functions in the forum will not work, such as PM's, members list and Online list etc. But you will be able to view images in the forum and galleries. You will also still see standard google ads within the forum.
3/ Registered Member. After making your 2nd post, you will become a registered member, and all forum functions will become available to you. These include PM's, signature, Avatars, "Members only forum", creation of albums and galleries, and all normal forum functions etc etc. All google ads will vanish, except for one at the very bottom of the forum.
4/ 500+ Member. After making your 500th post, all google ads will be removed from the site, meaning you are browsing completely ad free. The only thing you will still see is the "Help for Heroes" banner, and forum sponsors links.
5/ Forum sponsor. As a forum sponsor you will have all the forum functions as mentioned above, as well as access to the sponsors forum. In addition to this, you will also be able to view stats on your sponsors banner, such as number of views and clicks, via the "My Advertisements" link. You will also be able to change your banner at any time, in order to make special offers etc etc to members/viewers. Forum sponsorship costs £25 per year, but we do not take this money from you ourselves. All we ask is you donate the £25 to our charity "Help for Heroes", using the banner on the forums main page.
