Hi Jayne
fully intended to do so but with what happened at the meetings I wasnt happy. for one thing, at the meeting where we had to stand up and do our proposals I showed five sets of trypics I had taken and said I intended doing five sets of images with different ethic models. I shot all the images etc and had them all sorted and printed sample shots out etc. Ian Glover, the joint tutor on the professional practice module really pissed me off big time cos not only did he say five was too many and to leave it at two but he also said he didnt like the background and had I thought of putting textures such as rock behind. I said no as I didnt want to do that and he made me do some test prints with tectures and they looked totally crap. At the exhibtion when we had our session on defending our work in front of critique he said and I quote " Your work is fantastic but you missed a chance of making it exceptionl by limiting the work to two people.......you should hace had three or more people in it to show diversity!!" so I pointed out what he said in the meeting about limiting it to two and saying that I did so cos I thought I would get marked down...and you know what his reply was..... " I was only expressing an opinion!!!" totally and utterly really wazzed me off. I was 2% from an A for the exhibtion and I believe its because of what he said.
Please dont hold back.Im here to learn and to learn you have to listen to the mistakes you have made,so tell me!

David Lachapelle. Or did you forget about him? The heaven to hell series has some stuff similar to what you're on about.
