Plate mount for flashgun

Postby JR1 » Sat Feb 11, 2012 4:33 pm

A while ago I said that I mounted a ball and socket head on a plate to use when taking ground level pics, and someone said they would have liked to have seen it, but as I bought a Manfrotto mini tripod I no longer needed it.

HOWEVER today I did need a smaller version, the larger one was simply an identical plate but dinner size this is bread size, and has a very cheap head where as the large one had a manfrotto ball head.

I needed this because I wanted two flashguns, one in the front and one pointing at the background.

The head is from a broken freeby off a mag last year, I don't throw anything away.

If you replace the silly ball head with a proper head it makes a superb carry about mount for this sort of shooting.
