A Blustery day

Postby Briddo » Sun Nov 27, 2011 3:06 pm

I've been waiting for a while for the convergence of high tide, high wind and daylight. Well it sorta happened today. Now I've done many shots of waves but where I live the beach is empty and there is nothing to give a sense of scale - so I trooped off to New Brighton to take a few shots. Here they are what do you folks think?

Very impressive Jan.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

Thanks Kenny - one of the joys of having a 50-500mm lens you can stay well out of the danger zone and zoom in. Being an ex beach lifeguard (actually at new brighton) I know all too well the dangers of the sea when it is like that - seen too many people being swept away by them big waves and there is little you can do about it to save them
