Good thinking on the theme, like it

The plant looks nice, background has a bit too much detail... was that shot at F32? Maybe consider opening up a bit to loose the background detail.

I'm with Richard on the background, but I like the idea
CC/my personal thoughts on this would be.. Use a shallower DOF, have centre image in sharp focus only, and maybe take the lighting back a touch, to stop the blowing of whites on centre flower

Thanks Richard and Chris for your comments. The blue background is the rear of the light box, the other side being grey. I did meddle with different apertures, but stepped down to get more of the flower in focus at the expence of getting detail in the backdrop. I agree with you entirely Chris, it would have been better to have the centre of the image in focus, a point to be remembered for next time.

Dark - This shot is part of a series taken on my visit to Morocco in Fez. It was taken in colour and I have experimented in converting the shot to B & W in Photoshop as an idea to fit the Themed Chalenge "Dark"

Travel - Taken in Marrakech, Morocco. That many motor cycles in the street with pedestrians that you had to be careful not to get run over.
