Didn't know you had a 3D camera Pablo. :D

Nice picture.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

What am I (the amateur) missing here. To me the foreground greenery is fuzzy, the gorse - or whatever - is spot on and the headland is out of focus which is understandable. So I see a nice bit of yellow stuff and ignore the rest. Don't wish to tread on anyones toes but that's how I see it.

Glad see you say as you see it, this is why I struggle with landscape taking, you pretty much described what I saw some yellow stuff and background blurred, my reason for doing was for context to show where the yellow stuff is

Well we're both honest Pablo. What's the point of buttering up people, it doesn't help it just encourages them to continue making mistakes.

Technically very good Pablo, excellent shallow DOF but doesn't make me want it on my wall!

To me Pablo, if that was the effect that you where after then you have got it right, it reminds me of a poster you would see hung up in a tourist board office in some seaside town and I certainly dont dislike it....( although the yellow gorse flowers dont look very sharp on my monitor)
