News of Announcements

The forum may seem a little slow at points today. I'm currently doing full fresh local backups of everything (this and my other sites I host), and hosting company are doing server backups. This can sometimes result in slow speeds for up to an hour, while all the backups etc are being processed ;-)
So if ya get slow speeds or pages hang, don't panic. It's me ...

Sorry if you have been seeing an error when coming to the site as a guest/to login. Seems summat fell off the giggle pin, and stopped people viewing the index page as a guest LOL :mrgreen:

We are pleased to announce the launch of members personal albums, and themed albums.
To access your personal album, just go to User Control panel - Gallery, and click on manage Albums.

You can then upload up to 20 images in to your personal profile Album (already created for you)
You can also create up to 10 Sub-Albums, that can also contain up to 20 images, and name these albums ...

Tomorrow night I will be coding a new members gallery/album system in to the forum. I've had the system on test for a few weeks now, and all seems well. Fingers crossed the 2 hours of coding should go smoothly, and the galleries etc should just "appear" before your eyes. But as always, these things can go wrong, so don't panic if we go offline for a few mins.
Fingers crossed people will find it ...

Seems we have had an issue with spam accounts being created lately. These seem to have not just been bots creating them, but humans on a keyboard ;-)
We are now blocking the IP's of any spam accounts found, and 99.9% of these are from Sri Lanka, as well as a few other countries. If you are attempting to create a new genuine new account, and your ...

I have just this min experienced a server side malware redirect attack on imageshack (win anti-virus 2010). I've reported the matter to imageshack, but think a warning is needed while they resolve the issue. It is a completely random redirect, done by a fake php process server side. So it seems their server has been compromised. It's the same issue experienced last year on PFO, so please don't think it is fake or bad info, ...

There seems to be an issue with server today. I'm currently on it, and hosting are looking at the issue.
