This is a friend of ours who got married yesterday. To say they were on a tight budget is an understatement, so I stepped in as Uncle Bob. They didn't want any posed or group shots really, just something to record the day. ...a rescue job for a bride who's wedding photos were a complete disaster, to the point she was in tears and wouldnt let anyone see them.
Went to a house and took the inside ones, then suggested we move into the garden for a few more. Not much room so could only use the one light on the subject but happy with the results to a point. Did struggle a bit with the exposure because ...

Got booked to do this registry office wedding 3 days before.
Very simple registry office job and then an hour at the reception as they didnt have the big dinner thing...
me being me decided to follow them to their hotel just to have half an hour with them to give them so alone shots plus I was feeling in a daring mood and played with off cam flash...
just started editing them all but ...

God I was nervous but I did it..lol I only had the register office and a very small dark pub to take the shots in so it was very challenging with the light in the pub..
They have seen the pics and are over the moon with them which has now made me decide to get my head down and get learning as I have a hell of a lot to learn..
My next one ...

This was Phillipa, the bride at Rich's wedding that he allowed me to go and assist with (whatta nice bloke) I got this as she was walking up the steps to the room of the ceremony......
