Is it possible that the macro thread could be made clear that it's not also about the extreme macro, for instance. Mandy asked me where her recent flower shot should go because the macro thread reads only for the closest subjects, it could'nt go in the wildlife thread so i suggested 'the general misc images' thread???

I'm not sure flowers are really a macro shot? unless shot with a macro lens. I don't shoot macro that much but I could shoot a rose with a long zoom or even a standard zoom. Perhaps we need a section for flowers/plants and keep macro for pure macro work..

Hmmm...was wondering if my little frogs from shold have went to the wildlife section or the macro. Where to we draw the line between macro and close up or even extreme close up. Suppose its not worth getting anal about as long as folk are willing to post, but just wondered.
