I like the angle you have taken this. The only thing to me is that the clouds on the right hand side are a bit bright and lead you eye stright to it, away from the subject. ;-)

HI Mand

Im not too happy with the way the plugin did the mono really and will have to do it again so I feel better about it.Wish I had Karl's mono skills :-(

I disagree, i think the contrast and the different shades look really well on this and the angle helps.
I dont find the clouds distracting.
although id love to see the whole building!

Thank you Andy for the kind words.

I didnt tog the whole building cos when we were there the trafic was nuts and didnt want to risk standing somewhere the next bus might hit me at LOL.Have to say that I really enjoyed going to London and would like to do it again but next time do it over a few days as there just wasnt time to take everything in.I did like the tube trains funny enough and was tempted to tog a few people there but decided that it better to be safe than sorry and leave the cam in the backpack. The reason I only togged the top of the tower was to be a little diferent and have a Rich style tilt shot LOL

I'm gpobsmacked Rory..

I never expected anyone to say anything on my web site was stunning.I was going to bin the site and start again because after being told by the tutor at St Helens when I applied for a degree there that he had seen my site and in his opinion I was aiming above my weight, that I lacked ability and imagination and my photography showed no style or creativity and that was down to him not even seeing a single image of mine other than on there.I never got near an interview with him with portfolio or anything and that made me leave the site alone as I was so down about it. It was only because of certain people on this fine site-namely karl and Jayne and Rich giving me a boot up the arse that I actually applied again to Bolton Uni and got an interview and was accepted. The tutor there said he thought the one at St helens was a bit of an arse and to ignore what he said.

what astonishes me is you saying that the image is a belter.Id class your work as belters so for you to say that about something of mine has made me feel very happy.Thank you.Maybe my thoughts on just not going any further which I had a few weeks ago are not founded.

thank you once again.
