Batteries charged and ready to go for my 3rd paid horse shoot. This one is at a show in Upper Hopton and is mainly for a friend of ours who owns some of the horses, as well as jumping herself tomorrow. Not big money, but getting paid to go on a day out is good enough for me. Taya will soon be riding her horses, as the school she is at now, can't let her progress any further with jumping etc (due to insurance). So the cost of riding itself will go down, but we have to take out private insurance for her to start the jumping stages
Should be a good day out, and a bit of cash in the back pocket in the process

Hi Chris
nowt wrong with a good paid job-specially when you enjoy doing the work.I'd love to get some paid work but at the mo I dont think Im good enough and so wont put myself up for anything where its paid.its much easier doing it as a favour for the moment or second shooting.all the fun with no responsibility.Hopefully a few months of Uni will give me the confidence I need to go pro and make some money.
I'll look forward to seeing some of your horsey action shots.
Good luck and good weather

Please dont hold back.Im here to learn and to learn you have to listen to the mistakes you have made,so tell me!

Well that was harder than the one I did last time, and the last one was chaotic to say the least

Weather was very windy and at times the sky was pitch black

, but I think I got the shots I needed (just had a quick look).
Also met the competition for something I'm looking at moving in to, that being equestrian/show photography. Must admit that on seeing some of his shots, and also viewing some online, I feel quite good about some of the stuff I've produced
http://photosbychameleon.fotopic.net/Will pic a few out later, and get them posted up, and see what you guys think of my results

They are mainly horses head shots, and a few rider and horse shots.
